6. Sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitaplarındaki Okuma Etkinliklerinin Eleştirel Okuma Hedeflerine Uygunluğunun İncelenmesi

Abstract
6.sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki okuma etkinliklerinin eleştirel okuma hedeflerine uygunluğunun incelenmesini amaçlayan bu çalışmanın örneklemini iki farklı yayın evine ait 6.sınıf Türkçe ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Bulguları sunma kolaylığı sağlaması açısından ilgili kitaplara TRK6A ve TRK6B kodları verilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Eleştirel Okuma Ölçütü kullanılmıştır. 50 maddeden oluşan ölçek aracılığıyla ders kitaplarında yer alan toplamda 48 adet okuma metni etkinliklerin temalara dağılımı ve etkinliklerin içerdikleri ölçüt maddelerinin sıklığı açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın son bölümünde iki kitap karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre TRK6A kodlu kitapta yer alan 213 etkinliğin 102 sinin TRK6B kodlu kitapta yer alan 173 etkinliğin 75’inin eleştirel okuma hedeflerine uygun olduğu görülmüştür. İki kitapta da yer alan eleştirel okuma etkinliklerinin çoğunlukla Erdemler temasına ait okuma metinlerinde olduğu görülür. İki kitapta da en az eleştirel okuma hedeflerine uygun etkinlik içeren tema Sağlık ve Spor teması olmuştur. Etkinliklerin içerdikleri ölçüt maddelerinin sıklıkları incelendiğinde TRK6A kodlu kitaptaki etkinlikler çoğunlukla Çıkarımda bulunma ölçüt maddesine uygunken TRK6B kodlu kitaptaki etkinlikler çoğunlukla Okunan eserle ilgili kendi duygu ve düşüncelerini belirleme ölçüt maddesine uygundur. İki kitabın karşılaştırılması bölümünde ise TRK6A kodlu kitabın sayısal anlamda temadaki etkinlik sayısı, ölçüte uygun etkinlik sayısı ve etkinlik sıklığı bakımından TRK6B kodlu kitaptan yüksek sayıda etkinlik içerdiği görülmüştür.

Abstract
The sample of this study, which aims to examine the compatibility of reading activities in 6th grade Turkish textbooks with the objectives of critical reading, consists of 6th grade Turkish textbooks belonging to two different publishing houses. TRK6A and TRK6B codes are given to the relevant books in terms of the usefulness of providing the findings. In the research, document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The Critical Reading Scale was used as a data collection tool in the research. By means of a scale consisting of 50 items, a total of 48 reading texts in the textbooks were examined in terms of the distribution of the activities to the themes and the frequency of the criteria items included in the activities. In the last part of the research, two books were compared. According to the results of the research, 102 of the 213 activities in the TRK6A coded book and 75 out of the 173 activities in the TRK6B coded book were found to be suitable for the objectives of critical reading. It is seen that the critical reading activities in both books are mostly in the reading texts belonging to the Virtues theme. In both books, the theme that included the least amount of activities suitable for critical reading objectives was the Health and Sports theme. When the frequency of the criteria items included in the activities is examined, the activities in the TRK6A coded book are mostly in accordance with the Inference criterion, while the activities in the TRK6B coded book are mostly in accordance with the criterion item of determining one's own feelings and thoughts about the work read. In the comparison section of the two books, it was seen that the TRK6A coded book contained a higher number of activities than the TRK6B coded book in terms of the number of activities in the theme, the number of activities suitable for the criteria and the frequency of activities.
